The honest truth is, despite everything I have said about dogma propagated by the Rosicrucians, the fact that it is so very poorly propped up by acceptable reality, does not disprove their hypotheses. In fact, since I believe, there actually is real perceptual foundations for “occult” experience, for a more spiritual view of the material world than that provided by material science, I do not deny the possibility that many of their contentions about the spiritual basis of phenomena may be true in some way.
Why?
Because I believe that much of AMORC’s dogma is derivative- but possibly, at least partially, based from the writings of advanced sages who might actually know something. To this end, I invite any reader interested in spiritual alchemy- and its physical counterpart- which has implications for propounding a modern view of the material world, to see what real alchemical treatises purport. To this end, I ask that the reader simply visit www.alchemywebsite.com. This ingenious website, whose contents are compiled by artist, writer and teacher, Adam McLean, contains a wealth of material about and directly from ancient alchemical texts.
Whereas, I do not believe that any of this material will, in and of itself, will literally prove something, I do believe that much of it does come from writers who believed that they had direct insight into the nature of things. I also believe that anyone with access to these types of treatises, symbols and drawings could easily put together a derivative theoretical foundation that could serve as the basis for propagating an occult dogma that had very little foundations in the propagator’s direct knowledge and experience. If one is authentically interested in the history and writings of alchemy, the alchemy website is a good place to start.
In the Prisoner of San Jose, I show what a false spiritual doctrine, based on illusion can do to the human personality. In that case- my personality! In AMORC UNMASKED, I make efforts to try and explain what a real path of spiritual alchemy might be like, contrasting it with a derivative, egoistically-directed and experientially-deprived path based on Mind Control hypnosis and indoctrination.
In Degree 3, No. 5 of the Initiate Section, AMORC takes its theoretical meanderings a step forward, for the second time in a row, quoting a scientist involved in cell theory. No doubt this is very interesting stuff, but basically a comparison between the world of minerals with the living worlds of cells- in plants, animals and humans. This whole section does not advance much occult theory, but opens up the examination of life and death- which we will shortly see- does have a profound effect for the political and social consequence of what Rosicrucians aligned with AMORC might think about the world these monographs have created in their minds.
