An infant breathes for the first time? Is that the beginning of life? AMORC insists it is, yet as cited in the The Master Monograph from the Initiate Section, Degree 3, No. 8, AMORC actually developed a prenatal course, called THE CHILD CULTURE SERIES. Why bother so much if the child is not living?
In this prenatal course, the parents are asked to visualize the child’s development and features in the most positive way. They give tips- like telling the parents that since the child’s gender is activated on conception, then visualizing the child’s gender, which doesn’t really make sense since it is already established, could have an effect on the child’s feeling of being wanted if he happens to be born the opposite sex. They also tell the mother to think of herself as a sculpture, imparting to the child qualities that she might visualize. Mmmmm…
I think the reason for AMORC’S involvement in the prenatal course probably lies as a response a kind of spiritual movement regarding prenatal work- that had been taking place during the time the Child Culture Series was developed. In this era, some mothers would play music to the pregnant child, talk to it and actually even try to teach it things. The problem with this- for AMORC- is that many mothers who were doing this – actually though the fetus was alive and somehow absorbing all this in her womb. In other words, these mothers, at least, subliminally, thought that the soul of their baby had arrived in their wombs.
But AMORC didn’t want to just abandon their connection to the child- so they managed to stimulate prenatal activities by the mother, all the while letting them maintain their and, hopefully, her stance on the first breath theory, which leads to condoning abortion.
AMORC’s Mind Control Agenda feeds on the ability to create a cult personality that will separate its members from their family, friends and former political and religious beliefs. Yes, the Monographs would deny what I am saying- but the reality is that changing belief systems will have a radical effect on your primary center of influence- your family and friends.
AMORC’s alleged tradition is of an occult fraternity that denies the tradition of the Catholic and other protestant churches, with the Catholic Church being the most conspicuous challenger of their alleged traditions. Did not the Catholic Church come against the Knights Templers in 1307 along with the King of France, Philip the Fair- to destroy one of the most powerful and wealthy allegedly occult fraternities in the world?
AMORC recruits in countries that are predominantly Catholic, like Haiti and France, as well as other Christian countries with large Protestant denominations. Whereas many churches outside of the Catholic Church have varying opinions about abortion, the Catholic Church has been unwavering. The “first breath” theory of AMORC, to Roman Catholics, is an extremely divisive theory.
It certainly impacted on me when I, an ex-Catholic, became an exponent of AMORC’s official “first breath” dogma. More on this in my next blog.
