“At this point, however we must indicate that as this energy vibrates throughout our body it emits a bioelectromagnetic radiation which constitutes, in fact, our physical aura. The intensity of this aura is practically the same from one person to other; for it corresponds to the activity of electrons, protons, and neutrons at compose all organic matter. Its existence is now recognized by scientists, for they can measure its vibratory frequency quite precisely.”

Science and Bioelectromagnetic Radiation

Let’s begin analyzing the claims made in this monograph by referring to known facts, rather than vague allusions. We know that the body does produce electricity through several different cells including: neuron cells, the endocrine cells of the pancreas, and in excitable muscle cells. This electrical activity is primarily occurs in the cell membrane, where voltage is created due the difference in polarity between the cell and its surroundings. Now, we know that any flow of electricity will produce an associated magnetic field so we can confirm that biomagnetism does exist.

“So researchers have done some intriguing work concerning the electromagnetic characteristics which the physical aura exhibits under certain conditions, notably when it is subjected to the influence of nearby electric or magnetic fields.”

Unfortunately this magnetic force is extremely weak, especially when compared against far stronger external forces such as the earth’s magnetic field. In order to make any sort of accurate measurement which corresponds only to a body’s personal magnetism, all outside influences would have to be reduced to nil.

While this is possible, it takes extremely precise (read: expensive) equipment to do so. Bioelectromagnetic measurements are taken with a device known as SQUID or, superconducting quantum interference device. SQUID readings are conducted in a magnetically shielded room which minimizes all external disturbances. Currently there are only 160 laboratories in the world which have the capacity to accurately conduct such tests.

Immediately, this throws into doubt any assertions that scientists are testing bioelectromagnetic energy under the influence of other electromagnetic fields, by nature such a process would corrupt your readings and make them void.
