U-64-Anatomy of Exercise No. 50- Psychic Diagnosis 2nd Method from “64- Master Monograph Section Initiate Degree 7 Nos. 15-17”- Monograph 15 By AMORC Whistleblower Pierre S. Freeman
From Christian Bernard Monographs Anatomy of an Exercise: Degree 7, Monograph15 – Experiment Number 50
Unlike the first experiment, the technique for this diagnostic method is based on actual physical contact with the patient. The steps to be taken are as follows:
- The afflicted person must be a friend, family member or close associate.
- Have the person lie down on a flat, comfortable surface with their feet slightly apart and their arms down by their sides.
- Stand facing the patient and use your dominant hand and take their corresponding hand in yours.
- Breathe slowly and deeply through your nose in a consistent rhythm. Ask the patient to follow the same pattern if possible.
- After a minute or so you should perceive the clear impression of a color on the peripheral of your consciousness.
- Violet, blue or green indicates negative treatment, while red, yellow or organ signifies positive treatment. White indicates that dual treatment is required. (Refer to the 6th monograph)
According to the Class Master, this technique works through the transmission of vital energies via the hand. These energies then travel up the radial nerve and produce a visual reaction in a specific area of the brain which remains unnamed. Each of these auras represents a psychic imbalance.
A Closer Look at Vital Energies
The concept of vital energy detailed in these monographs shares many the same hallmarks which mark out widely touted mystical beliefs involving Qi, Mana or Prana.
- In each of these instances the force involved is of a subtle nature with no true method of measuring the results, except through qualitative (read: impossible to disprove) means.
- Despite the delicacy of these energies, they nevertheless hold a stranglehold over our health, with a minor imbalance being enough to tip us over into illness.
- Each of these energies flows around the body, although the actual source of this flow is imperceptible to the untrained eye.
- Despite the fact that electronics and magnetic make no impression on these energy fields, other human bodies can seemingly interfere with them at will.
In the 21st century, energy is by no means a mysterious phenomenon. We know it exists in clearly defined forms, from kinetic and chemical to thermal and nuclear. We know that energy can’t be created or destroyed, only converted from one form into another (first law of thermodynamics). Moreover, each of these scientific theories has been proven time and time again through mathematic proofs and actionable, scientifically rigorous experimentations.
So where does vital energy fit into our understanding of how the world works? Where was this form of energy created? What does it convert from, or into? Why does it resist measurement when every other form of energy produces clear, quantifiable impacts? Finally, if vital energy can’t be reliably measured as indicated in this excerpt from the monograph:
“These two diagnostic methods have always aroused considerable interest in those members who have attained this degree of the Rosicrucian studies. It must be admitted, however, that they require a rather well developed psychic sensitivity.”
Then how do we even know that it even exists? Are the words of a few mystics to be believed over a mountain of rigorously peer-reviewed experiments? Indeed, we’ve talked at length in previous monographs about how these claims of vital energy perception have stood up in the face of basic scientific enquiry (cast your mind back to the experiments of Emily Rosa). With that in mind, what proof does Rosicrucian Order AMORC have that these outcomes are even possible to achieve?
