GAIN THEIR TRUST
Be logical, interesting and kind enough to gain their trust at the very outset. Increase their trust by pitching ancient, infallible teachings; powerful, invisible Masters; a seemingly verifiable pedigree; a membership that contains some of the most famous people in history, etc. Once members have their trust, they lower their defenses and can be manipulated.
If one looks at most Mind Control cults, there is a great deal of interaction between new members and their superiors. In a recent interview with Marc Headley, author of Blown for Good – Behind the Iron Curtain of Scientology by Ian Punnett, the omnipresence of scientology handlers in the lives of celebrities, workers and regular members was discussed in detail. Similar claims are made by Stephen Hasan, the well-known exit counselor, when he discusses his indoctrination into the Unification Church. This kind of behavior is also discussed in the film, Ticket to Heaven, which is really about family members and friends to participate in recapturing a Canadian convert to the Unification Church.
And, of course, if anyone is familiar with Jonestown, their security and watchfulness with their members was absolute.
But how do you do this in an organization like AMORC where the meetings with actual, real people as in events like the weekly Convocation seldom actually occur? How do you do this remotely, without any human supervision of members, as opposed to in a bustling headquarters filled with activities or some kind of remote camping experience where every moment is controlled by the indoctrinators?
You begin to do this by providing some kind of powerful method of instilling trust in your victims without having to be there. In AMORC, it is by setting up in members minds, that AMORC is a “traditional and mystical Order” with a laundry list of distinguished people like Leonardo da Vinci, Sir Isaac Newton, Paracelsus, Benjamin Franklin and the like. This is the same technique used by the authors of Holy Blood, Holy Grail who so-called research led to the worldwide fascination with the Priory of Sion, the secret organization promoted by Rob Brown in his books, The Da Vinci Code and Angels and Demons. People are hungry for authority- especially if it exists outside themselves. When they do this, they satisfy an inner need for authority that can be their tragic downfall.
In AMORC UNMASKED, I put it this way:
You are told that the Rosicrucian Order’s monographs represent the only true, active occult organization that is in control of the arcane secrets of the universe and that holds the key to true Cosmic Consciousness. This puts AMORC in a position of authority-, which is the way that old, style, conventional hypnosis uses to foster suggestion. You basically give your will over to someone else- in this case an organization, provided the proper state of consciousness or trance is assumed by the subject at the appropriate time.
Wonderful things happen in a cult which is composed of members who believe fully in their authority. The leaders are now blessed with people who will do anything for them. To quote from The Sound of Music, members will “forge every stream” and “follow every rainbow”- to fulfill their leader’s dreams.
Yes, you can instill trust at a distance. You just have to talk about famous, dead people and their absolute past commitment to your organization. Then you can cite their books and their achievements and just hope that your followers have been sufficiently indoctrinated that they don’t really investigate your claims of their attachment to your specific organization too deeply.
Mandamus I has a section, the “Origin of Our Teachings” which very early presents the authoritative foundation of AMORC, listing the prominent members and august history- and this continual ramping of its authority continues onward throughout the monograph series, investing more and more in the power and secret importance of these historical figures, eventually tinged with their connection to an extremely living and vibrant invisible hierarchy of spiritual masters who watch over every member, who some members can meet and interact with on other planes.
All this takes place at the very beginning of your indoctrination. ]
Mandamus No. 2 begins by discussing the uniqueness and importance of the name standing behind the acronym AMORC. It stands for “The Ancient and Mystical Order Rosae Crusis.” In the past, however, it was called the Antiquis Arcanus Ordo Rosae Rubea et Aureae Crucis, which could be translated as “The Ancient, Arcane Order of the Red Rose of the Golden Cross.”
This name is the only name you can trust because-
-if the initials A.M.O.R.C. are not associated with the expression Rosicrucian Order you cannot be sure of the authenticity of what is described as being Rosicrucian.
So, be careful!
